FREEDOM EXPRESS 2012

The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Kalyan is proud to present Freedom Express 2012 - an initiative that captures the essence of patriotism through self expression, while spreading India's energy, vibrance and zest through and to her children. Freedom Express was awarded the "Best International Service Project 2010-11" for capturing the spirit of patriotism from across India. This year too, our attempt is to capture the spirit of being Indian.

It would be a great honor for us to feature an original article from you and your club to help spread the magic that is 'India' stating in your own words, what it feels like to be Indian in the wake of her 65th year as a free and independent nation. Celebrate her rich legacy by telling us how you intend to contribute to her growth this year, either through activities, initiatives or drives that will help spark a positive change. Please refrain from using quotes; we are looking for articles that are impactful and concise, not exceeding 250 words.

This year, RCB Kalyan is also hosting a Freedom Express Photography Contest, based on the theme "Being the Change for a Better India". The contest commences on 25th July, 2012 and ends 10th August, 2012 at midnight. We are looking out for 3 lucky winners and featuring their photos in the 2012 issue of the Freedom Express.

You can also join our Facebook contest page http://www.facebook.com/freedomexpresskalyan for regular updates and the winners. We have also attached a short note on the project and rules. Please do go through it and reach out to us for any clarifications.

Since we would like to publish this bulletin on 15th August, 2012, we would appreciate your responses by the evening of 10th August, 2012.
